This song was composed by Terri Rivera in honor and memory of her son, Harvey Alexander Piatt, who tragically passed on September 30th, 2017. Around this same date, Natalie Sudman - author and close friend of Sings With Ravens, composed a poem not completely sure of it's source and purpose. When she learned of Alex's passing, she offered Terri the words, that they may have been for Alex. Those words became the lyrics and the music began to come together in time for Alex's memorial ceremony.
